Former border between Russia and Germany
Short movie from the crossing of former border between German and Russian Empire (to be exact between Kingdom of Prussia and Kingdom of Poland) at Osiek – Pissakrug. The place is located between Rypin and Brodnica on the road DW560 – today it’s still a border separating two adjacent communes. Easy to spot as the border follows local stream Pisa and is clearly marked as a local administrative border. This border remained here until 1920 (after 1918 as Polish-German border).

Second place where it is very easy to see exact location of former border between Russian and German Empires is in Golub-Dobrzyń. Now it is one town, but until 1914 it was divided by the border following river Drewenz (Drwęca). Gollub was on the German (Prussian) side while Dobrzyń was in Russia:
