This site was originally intended as motorcycle blog dedicated to my travels, and as far as the blog proper is concerned this is still the leading subject but eventually I have decided to resurrect my old site and thus added large section dedicated to scripophily, i.e. collecting old bonds and share certificates which is a long time hobby of mine.
Scripophily is actually quite exotic hobby, and definitely not so popular as collecting of stamps, coins or banknotes. It has gained popularity in the US and Western Europe during 1970/80-ies, but in Poland it was almost non-existent. Actually when I started my collection there was almost nobody interested in old stock and bond certificates and even today there are very few serious collectors in this country.
